Current Portfolio/Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning, managing, and, and conducting programs of basic and clinical

research related to the immunology of the gastrointestinal tract through a variety of

grant. In addition, he plans and conducts programs of basic and clinical research related

to gastrointestinal motility disorders through a variety of grant mechanisms. As part of

his other responsibilities, he serves as the project officer of the recently funded NIDDK

gastroparesis consortium
