Six of the seven fires have been contained and are in a mop-up and patrol status. The only remaining uncontained fire is the Jedediah Fire in the Siskiyou Wilderness. Five fire crews will continue building handline on the fire and begin mop up with helicopter support.

Safety is always the primary concern for a wildfire and was considered in the development of every suppression strategy for the fire. "Hundreds of fightfighters have been working in very difficult, steep terrain and had one injury. I want to commend their outstanding efforts to be safe," said District Ranger Mary Kay Vandiver.
