In preparation for the upcoming fire season, Forest Service contracting officers will hold a public workshop from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, for persons interested in providing water tenders to be used for hire at times of fire emergencies. The workshop is being held at the Six Rivers National Forest Supervisor’s Office located at 1330 Bayshore Way, in Eureka, CA.

The purpose of the workshop is to review the solicitation currently being advertised for water tenders for this upcoming fire season. Contracting officers will review the solicitation and answer questions that prospective vendors may have.
