Postdoctoral Fellowship in B cell Immunology

A postdoctoral position is available for a highly motivated candidate to study the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in the expression of BAFF system molecules. (ref. J. Immunol. 2008 Jul 15;181(2):976-90 and Eur. J Immunol. 2007 Jul;37(7):1785-95).

Qualifications:

Knowledge of molecular biology (i.e. cloning, expression, and purification of proteins) and immunology (i.e. flow cytometry, ELISPOT, immunofluorescence microscopy) techniques as well as experience in handling mice is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to design well-controlled experiments are required.

FDA/CBER’s Laboratory of Bacterial Polysaccharides is located at the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland and offers an excellent environment for professional development.

Salary Range :

Candidates who hold a PhD or MD degree will be offered competitive salary depending on their experience.
