Price County |
Price County is located in west central Wisconsin and was created in 1879 from Chippewa and Lincoln Counties. It was named after Mr. W. T. Price, an early logger in Price County and President of the Wisconsin Senate.
The state's highest recorded elevation is located in Price County, near Omega - Timm's Hill, at 1,952 feet. The county seat is Phillips.
