The 2007 UWIG Annual Meeting and Technical Workshop will provide attendees with a global perspective on the status of wind in utility systems in the United States and other countries. The agenda, on wind integration and application on utility power systems, includes topics on industry and technology developments, distributed wind and local developments, achieving 20 percent use of wind by 2030, international experience, transmission planning and policy as well as updates on wind integration studies. This series of events will include meetings of the UWIG User Groups, the 2007 UWIG Membership Meeting and a reception featuring the presentation of the UWIG Annual Achievement Awards.
