ANDREW BATES: Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Commissioner Merrifield, can you hear us?

COMMISSIONER MERRIFIELD: Yes.

ANDREW BATES: Okay. Thank you. The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order addressing the review of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's Initial Decision directing the issuance of an Early Site Permit for the Grand Gulf ESP site. The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order which authorizes the staff to issue the early site permit. May I have your affirmations please?

CHAIRMAN KLEIN: Aye.

COMMISSIONER MCGAFFIGAN: Aye.

COMMISSIONER JACZKO: Aye.

COMMISSIONER LYONS: Aye.

ANDREW BATES: Commissioner Merrifield?

COMMISSIONER MERRIFIELD: Aye.
