The Commission approved a Memorandum and Order responding to an appeal from Loretta Williams of the Atomic Safety Licensing Board's denial of her petition to intervene in the decommissioning of the Shieldalloy Metallurgical Corporation's site in Newfield, New Jersey. The Memorandum and Order denies Ms. Williams appeal. The Commission also addresses a preliminary procedural matter.
(Subsequently, on May 30, 2007, the Secretary signed the Memorandum and Order.)
