SECY-07-0034 - Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Early Site Permit for Clinton ESP)

The Commission approved a Memorandum and Order subsequent to Commission review of the record for the Clinton early site permit. The Memorandum and Order concludes the Commission's licensing review and authorizes the NRC staff to issue the early site permit, subject to the Commission direction in the Memorandum and Order. Commissioner Merrifield provided a separate opinion, concurring in part and dissenting in part, to the Memorandum and Order.

(Subsequently, on March 8, 2007, the Secretary signed the Memorandum and Order.)
