The Commission was briefed by the NRC staff and a stakeholder panel consisting
of representatives of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards, the
Nuclear Energy Institute, Greenpeace, and Dominion Resources Services,
Inc., on the status of new reactor licensing activities.
The NRC staff should continue to engage the Commission, as appropriate,
in setting priorities for new reactor licensing activities.
