The Commission was briefed by members of the NSRRC on their review of the NRC's research programs.
The Commission encouraged the staff to make use of Naval Reactors research information in cases where it is applicable to commercial reactors and the data is available.
As a separate matter, the Commission is considering whether to retain the NSRRC and will issue a separate SRM addressing that matter.
