The Commission was briefed by the NRC staff and Agreement State representatives on their experience with implementation of the Integrated Materials Performance Evaluation Program (IMPEP).
The staff committed to provide an integrated schedule for finalization of all non-common performance indicators. This schedule should be provided at the same time as the staff's paper containing final recommendations on the Policy Statement on Adequacy and Compatibility of Agreement State Programs which is due by the end of February.

The staff committed to improve the timeliness of the IMPEP reporting and resolution process. In one year, the staff should report back to the Commission on the steps the staff has taken to improve the timeliness of IMPEP feedback to Agreement States and Regions, and whether those steps have resulted in more rapid feedback.
