P R O C E E D I N G S

CHAIRMAN KLEIN: Well I believe we have one affirmation vote today. So, any comments before we start? Madam Secretary?

ANNETTE VIETTI-COOK: This on Entergy Nuclear Operations, the Pilgrim and Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Stations. The Commission is being asked to act on an Order responding to a request for hearing and petition for leave to intervene, which included a "Petition for Backfit Order," filed by the Massachusetts Attorney General in reference to the license renewal proceedings at the Pilgrim and Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Stations.

The Commission has voted to approve an Order which denies the petitions for backfit order.

Would you please affirm your votes?

CHAIRMAN KLEIN: Aye.

COMMISSIONER MCGAFFIGAN: Aye.

COMMISSIONER MERRIFIELD: Aye.

COMMISSIONER JACZKO: Aye.

COMMISSIONER LYONS: Aye.

ANNETTE VIETTI-COOK: That’s all I have.

CHAIRMAN KLEIN: Any other comments? Meeting is adjourned.
