The Commission approved a Memorandum and Order related to a license amendment application filed by Carolina Power and Light (CP&L) to increase the spent fuel storage capacity at its Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant. The Memorandum and Order dismisses without prejudice Orange County's petition for review of Atomic Safety and Licensing Board issuance LBP-00-12 on the ground that it was prematurely filed.
(Subsequently, on June 20, 2000, the Secretary signed the Memorandum and Order.)
