CHAIRMAN JACKSON: Good afternoon. I understand that we have one
item to come before us this afternoon for affirmation. Mr. Hoyle, would you
please lead us through the item for affirmation?
MR. HOYLE: Chairman Jackson, the item is SECY-98-005A. In this
paper, the Commission is being asked to act on an order responding to a January
20,1998 Joint Motion for Termination of this Proceeding, the proceeding being the
21st Century Technologies proceeding, from both the NRC staff and 21st Century
Technologies. All of you have voted to approve an order that grants the motion
for termination and indicates that the Commission does not intend to undertake sua
sponte review of the Licensing Board's approval of the settlement agreement. I
ask you to affirm your votes.
. CHAIRMAN JACKSON: Aye.
COMMISSIONER DICUS: Aye.
COMMISSIONER DIAZ: Aye.
COMMISSIONER MCGAFFIGAN: Aye.
MR. HOYLE: Thank you.
