The Commission met to facilitate communication between the Commission and the NRC staff, and to share with the staff the Commission's views in the high-level waste, new reactor licensing, and security areas, as well as on the importance of diverse views, physical space utilization, and staffing matters. The Commission also responded to numerous questions from the NRC staff
