The Commission was briefed by the representatives of the Nuclear Energy
Institute (NEI) and the NRC staff on progress in revising the regulatory
framework to provide reasonable assurance of steam generator tube integrity
(SGTI). This framework has been maturing through many years of development.
The Commission looks forward to the closure that will be achieved by the
implementation of the technical specification changes.
