P R O C E E D I N G S
CHAIRMAN MESERVE: Okay. This is an affirmation session. Madam
Secretary, you may proceed.
MS. VIETTI-COOK: In a May 31, 2001 order, the Atomic Safety and
Licensing Board referred to the Commission the Board's ruling on where to set
the regulatory standard for aircraft crash hazards at applicant Private Fuel
Storage proposed independent spent fuel storage installation site. Consistent
with the Commission's policy to accept Board certifications and referrals where
"early resolution" of issues is desirable, the Commission has voted to approve
an order granting review and setting the case for briefing. Would you please
affirm your votes?
		COMMISSIONER MESERVE: Aye.
		COMMISSIONER DICUS: Aye.
		COMMISSIONER MCGAFFIGAN: Aye.
		COMMISSIONER MERRIFIELD: Aye.
MS. VIETTI-COOK: Commissioner Diaz had previously approved the
order in writing and had he been present he would have affirmed his prior vote.
That's all I have.
CHAIRMAN MESERVE: Very good. Thank you very much. We're
adjourned.
