									9:31 a.m.
MR. MESERVE: Good morning. Before we turn to the subject of this morning's meeting, we
have two Affirmation Matters that we need to deal with.
		Madam Secretary?
MS. VIETTI-COOK: The Commission's being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order Responding
to An Appeal by Sequoia Fuels Corporation of the Presiding Officer's Decision to Grant Standing to
Intervene in the State of Oklahoma on Sequoia's Proposed Decommissioning Plan.
The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order which affirms the Presiding
Officer's Ruling that Oklahoma has standing and has stated its concerns with sufficient particularity in
declining to hear the remainder of Sequoia's appeal.
Chairman Meserve did not participate in this matter.
Would you please affirm your votes?
		(Chorus of ayes)
MS. VIETTI-COOK: The second item, the Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and
Order Responding to a Petition for Review of LDP-0026, filed by Intervenors, Connecticut Coalition Against
Millstone, and the Long Island Coalition Against Millstone.
The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order which denies in part and grants
in part the Petition for Review and invites the filing of Amicus Curiae briefs.
Commissioner Diaz would have declined review of Contentions 4 and 6.
Would you please affirm your votes?
		(Chorus of ayes)
		MS. VIETTI-COOK: That's all I have.
ARBITRATOR CLARK: Thank you, Madam Secretary.
(Whereupon, the Affirmation Briefing was concluded.)
