P R O C E E D I N G S

CHAIRMAN MESERVE: Good morning. Before we turn to the subject of this morning's hearing, we
have an affirmation matter to deal with. Madam Secretary, could you proceed?
MS. VIETTI-COOK: The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order responding
to a request by the State of Utah for Commission Review of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's October
30, 2000 Order which denied admission of three late filed contentions concerning the staff's draft
environmental impact statement. The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order which denies
Utah's petition for interlocutory review of the Board's decision denying admission of the late filed
contentions. Would you please affirm your votes?
		COMMISSIONER MESERVE: Aye.
		COMMISSIONER DICUS: Aye.
		COMMISSIONER DIAZ: Aye.
		COMMISSIONER MCGAFFIGAN: Aye.
		COMMISSIONER MERRIFIELD: Aye.
		MS. VIETTI-COOK: That's all I have.
CHAIRMAN MESERVE: Good. Thank you very much.
