I. SECY-04-0017 - Maine Yankee Atomic Power Co. (Maine Yankee Atomic Power Station); State of Maine's Petition for Review of LBP-03-26

The Commission approved a Memorandum and Order responding to the State of Maine's petition for review of LBP-03-26. The Memorandum and Order affirms the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's decision in LBP-03-26.

(Subsequently, on February 18, 2004, the Secretary signed the Memorandum and Order.)

II. SECY-04-0021 - Duke Energy Corp. (Catawba Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2); NRC Staff's Petition for Interlocutory Review of the Licensing Board's January 29, 2004 Memorandum and Order (Ruling on BREDL Motion for Need to Know Determination and Extension of Deadline for Filing Security-Related Contentions)

The Commission approved a Memorandum and Order responding to the NRC staff's petition for interlocutory review of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's January 29, 2004 "disclosure" order and the February 4, 2004 "meeting" order. The Memorandum and Order grants review and reverses both of the Board's orders.

(Subsequently, on February 18, 2004, the Secretary signed the Memorandum and Order.)
