Who We Are: About the Science and Technology program
The Bureau of Reclamation is a federal water resources management agency in the U.S., responsible for western United States water resources. The Science and Technology program addresses technical and science needs of the agency. The research program is directed and coordinated from the Research Director’s Office, with staff in Washington, D.C., and Denver, Colorado.
Research includes developing information in the form of data, inventories, models, monitoring or research results. Reclamation's Science and Technology program uses many areas of expertise to examine water resource and supply issues and solutions.
