Recreation - Outfitters and Guides

The Forest Service issues outfitter/guide permits to respond to a demonstrated need to provide high quality service and assistance to the recreating public on National Forest System Lands. Permits are issued if needed to provide services, protect public health and safety and to help meet land management objectives.

Persons accepting fees for providing outdoor recreational activities on National Forest System Lands must operate under Special Use authorization and be registered with the Oregon Marine Board. The following outfitter/guides are currently permitted and available to provide a variety of recreation services.

Note: The list below is simply for the public's reference; the Forest Service does not recommend any particular permitted outfitter-guide over any of the others. The Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest provides only name, city and state of each outfitter/guide. All additional contact information has been provided by each outfitter/guide. As additional outfitter/guides provide us with more detailed contact information, we shall update this list.

The following Outfitters and Guides have permits issued by the Forest Service to operate in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. Any other individuals, groups, or businesses who may be outfitting and/or guiding in the forest, either commercially or for any other kind of payment or consideration, are operating illegally, and are subject to penalty.
