Recreational Activities - TrailsBaldface Trail 1215
Description: Access to the North Fork Smith River Trail. Good view of Kalmiopsis Wilderness and old mining area. The portion that is an old road is steep and rocky. The crossing on Baldface Creek is not suitable for horses and there is no suitable way around. Baldface Creek offers some fly fishing opportunities for small resident trout. No motorized or mechanized equipment (i.e. bicycles) are allowed in the Wilderness. Access: From O'Brien take Forest Service road 4402 to Forest Service road 112. |
