Fire and Aviation

Area closures may be in effect on portions of the Rogue River-Siskyou National Forest in order to ensure public safety and facilitate fire fighting efforts. Please contact your local ranger district offices for more information prior to travel on National Forest Lands.

Please exercise extreme caution on all forest lands. If you are recreating on state, BLM or private lands please consult the Oregon Department of Forestry for regulations at (451) 664-3328.

Fireworks of any type are prohibited on National Forest lands under Federal Law. Some exceptions occur, but only under special use permit, at the discretion of land managers and in strict accordance with fire prevention regulations.

Rogue River Interagency Hotshot Crew

Siskiyou Rapel Crew
