How to Submit a Prior Notice through FDA's Prior Notice System Interface (PNSI)

  1. Collect the required information (See PN Fact Sheet).
  2. Verify that your computer system meets the minimum system requirements.
  3. Create an Account and Password for the online FDA Industry Systems.
  4. Login and Submit a Prior Notice.

Please note:

  • The PNSI System will automatically time out after 30 minutes of inactivity. If a submission is only partially completed and has not been saved, the information will be lost. The user will then need to log back into their account and begin again.
  • DO NOT USE THE BACK ARROW when creating a prior notice as it will disconnect the user from the website. Navigate through the site by using only the prompts, buttons, or links provided.
