Functional Description The applications provide: state-wide file clearance, identification of new clients and groups (case and client Ids), registration and tracking of program applications and referrals, automated assignment/ reassignment of cases, financial eligibility determination, benefit authorization, benefit issuance, and reporting for federal and state, fiscal, program management, caseload management, statistical and trends. 
Interfaces Federal OCSE and State CSES/Friends of the Court; Social Security Adm.-SDX/Bendex,AFCARS; IRS; DMB-MAIN, PPRISM (personnel); DCIS-Licensing, Unemployment Agency; Outside Providers –Consolidated Energy/Shelter vendors, Telephone service providers, Health care provider (Plus Care).

Application Future Plans Once the complete initial functionality is implemented, plans will begin to redesign and integrate the databases, update the oldest programming, continue to enhance the common-look-and-feel and enhance functionality. 
Other Relevant Information Requirement definitions are complete and design specifications are underway. Primary goals are to combine/migrate to one mainframe and provide a common-look-and-feel for end users for current functionality through a web access front end.
