Functional Description The applications provide: state-wide file clearance; identification of new clients and groups (case and client IDs); registration and tracking of program applications and referrals; automated assignment/ reassignment of cases; financial eligibility determination ; benefit authorization; benefit issuance; reporting for federal and state, fiscal, program management, caseload management, statistical and trends.

Certifications/Assessments   
Application Future Plans See State Systems Profile for Customer Information Management System (CIMS) project. Project goals are to consolidate/migrate databases to a single mainframe and create a common look and feel for end users through creating web access to all three applications. Plans are underway to expand use of the Data Warehouse to provide more flexible reporting options for all levels of the agency for program and caseload management. 
Other Relevant Information In July, 2001, FIA completed implementation of an EBT system with Citicorp for FIP cash benefits and Food Stamps; FIA uses a TerraData RDB to support TANF federal reporting. See future plans.
