Functional Description	In addition to administering child care subsidies in each of their respective counties, the UCCAs also provide an assortment of other child care services, such as Child Care Resource and Referral and Family Day Care registration.DFD provides child care services to approximately 40,000 children per month. The Division of Family Development (DFD) takes the lead for the New Jersey Department of Human Services in the administration of the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF). The CCDF represents a combination of federal and state funding specifically used for Work First New Jersey (WFNJ)/Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) child care support services and child care for low-income families through New Jersey Cares for Kids (NJCK).
