Functional Description The CBC System tracks criminal record background checks for individuals who are involved with child care in North Carolina. This system tracks whether or not individuals are deemed qualified to provide child care, based on their criminal record background check. The system generates qualified and/or disqualified letters to individuals and/or their employers. 
Interfaces The data from the CBC system is directly accessed via ODBC by the DCD Day Care Regulatory System. The data is also read directly by the DCD Early Childhood Workforce Registry System (ECW).
