Functional Description SIS is the mainframe system used to record demographic information about clients, their families, and their relatives, and to track services provided to the family, including placements and adoption, while under DYFS supervision. Referrals for protective and general social services, protective service investigation, and substantiated perpetrators identified in protective service investigations, are also recorded. Data collected in SIS includes a history of goals, legal status codes, living arrangements and addresses, out-of-home placements, and referrals for protective and general social services.
