Functional Description |
The PACSES system contains the following features: Support of intake procedures that capture case and member data statewide. Automated receipt of IV-A (welfare) referrals from the Department of Public Welfare?s (DPW) Client Information System (CIS). Establishment of paternity by acknowledgement or genetic testing. Case assessment and automated next case processing. Generation of forms - manually by the user or system generated. Automated docketing of orders. Automatic initiation of locate requests. Delinquency tracking and automatic initiation of enforcement remedies. Distribution of receipts (payments) throughout a case and throughout multiple cases. Automated production of all management and federal reports. Provides audit trails of activities and financial data through diaries and financial transaction logs. Ability to track and enforce interstate cases through CSENet. Direct Client access to current and past financial case status via a web enabled platform. Data warehousing for automated retrieval of selected data. |
Interfaces |
There are three types of interface/interchanges that PACSES supports. They are locate, enforcement and financial intercept processing.
Locate sources include State and Federal Data New Hire interface, Federal Case Registry interface, PA Department of Revenue interface, PA Department of Health interface, PA Department of Transportation interface, PA Department of Labor & Industry interface, CSENet interface, Social Security Administration interface, and PA IV-A System (CIS) interface.
Enforcement sources include PA Department of Transportation interface for Drivers License Revocation, Epien, Equifax and Transunion interfaces for Credit Bureau listings, US Department of State interface for Passport Denial, and PA State Collection and Disbursement Unit interface for listings of Lien Holders.
Financial Intercept sources include PA Department of Revenue interface for State Tax intercept, US Internal Revenue interface for Federal Tax intercept, PA Department of Labor & Industry interface for U/C intercept, State and Federal Data New Hire interface for Wage Attachment and Office of Child Support Enforcement interface for Financial Institution Data Match. |
