Functional Description This system is Minnesota`s SACWIS and includes Intake, Assessment and Evaluation, Eligibility, Case Management, Resource Management (Licensing of Family Day Care and Family Foster Care Homes), Child Protection, Placements and Adoptions, as well as Management Information and Reporting to State and Federal Authorities for the county-administered, state-supervised child welfare programs. Generic functions such as case notes and staff time reporting may be used for adult services, but there is no specialized capability to support adult services. 
Interfaces Interfaces with county accounting systems for vendor payments, medical assistance claims generation, and some county and state reporting. Interfaces to state IV-A and Title XIX systems for client index and program use information.
