Functional Description The KsCARES system is used by SRS Economic and Employment Support staff to determine eligibility, authorize and track payments for the Child Care Subsidy program and to process TANF Work Program referrals and authorize payments for employment related activities and support services. 
Interfaces In support of TANF Work Programs and the Child Care Subsidy program, KsCARES interfaces with a number of other state systems including KAECSES, the automated eligibility system for TANF, the state`s EBT contractor system, fiscal and accounting systems for payment and tracking of benefits, and the Ks. Dept. of Health and Environment for child care provider data.
