Functional Description Lami is an eligibility determination and benefit calculation system. Eligibility, determination and case management is done on-line by eligibility workers and processed batch nightly. Food Stamps and TANF benefits for the next month are calculated on the 2nd to last work day of the month. An eligibility file is electronically transferred to the EBT Contractor for benefits to be available the first day of the month. Management reports are produced on the last day of the month and are available on-line thru the DSS Report Management System.
