Functional Description CCUBS is a web based system that integrates management of the three programmatic areas of the Child Care and Development Fund: 1) child care licensing and inspection, utilizing handheld inspection units 2) subsidy budget management, eligibility determination, and payment processing 3) contract management for quality improvement programs. The system serves two divisions of the Montana DPHHS and 12 non-profit Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) agencies. Users with read-only access include individuals from the Child and Family Services Division, the Early Childhood Project at Montana State University, and the Montana CCR&R Network. 
Interfaces CCUBS utilizes real-time interfaces with Montana?s Child & Adult Protection System (CAPS) to facilitate CPS information sharing, The Economic Assistance Management System (TEAMS) to facilitate eligibility determination and case management for Families participating in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program. Child care licensors interface handheld computers used for field inspections. Limited provider information is avaiable over the Internet on the Virtual Human Services Pavilion Child Care Resource Directory.
