Functional Description NOMADS does all TANF intake and eligibility determination, as well as the locate, establishment, enforcement, collections and distribution activities of the Child Support Enforcement Program. The Food Stamp eligibility and disbursement activities are also supported by NOMADS. 
Interfaces NOMADS interfaces with CSENet; SSA for NUMIDENT; FCR; Department of Motor Vehicles; Department of Corrections; Employment Security; Department of Wildlife; Division of Child and Family Services; Utilities Companies; Financial Institutions; and the SCaDU (State Collections & Disbursement Unit).

Certifications/Assessments NOMADS is fully federally certified for FSA88 & PRWORA requirements. 
Application Future Plans We are currently implementing a system for Employment and Training as well as the LIHEA program using File Server Technology. When stable, future NOMADS development will be done using this platform.
