Functional Description The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) administers eligibility for subsidized child care and for provider payments. The Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services (TDPRS) agency administers the child care licensing function. 
Interfaces PRS/CCL has an interface with TWC and TWC has read-only access to the ACCLAIM system in order for TWC to access child care facility compliance data.The child care data necessary for processing payments is uploaded into the Child Care Management System (CCMS) from the Local Workforce Boards and the TWC subcontractors. TWC has an automated interface with the State of Texas’ Office of the Comptroller.CCL has an interface with TWC.

Application Future Plans Acclaim will no longer be in use as of November 2001. The historical data will still reside in the database but no new data will be entered. Instead a new web application called CLASS is taking its place.
