Functional Description FMCS stores financial and demographic data and issues benefits on all clients for programs administered by the Department. The Recipient Master File (RMF) stores data on recipients; while the Dependent Master File (DMF) stores data on case dependents. 
Interfaces FMCS receives updated transactions from BEACON Release 2 to issue benefits and store payment history information. Daily benefit issuance information is forwarded to E-Funds (formerly Deluxe Data Corporation) for EBT, Electronic Benefit Transfer payments. Benefit issuance information for Direct Deposit cases is passed to the contracted State bank, Fleet Bank, for accounts updating.Benefit issuance data may also be passed to the DIMS, Data Insertion Mailing System, if the benefit will be paid by check. Recipient and Dependent information is passed to the WELCASE database, which provides information to SSPS, the Special Services Payment System. Daily benefit history is passed to BEACON Release 2. Recipient and Dependent information is passed nightly to the Division of Medical Assistance for medical assistance benefit authorizations.
