Functional Description This system consists of three components consisting of (1) a Turnkey Inspection System, (2) a Statewide Data Warehouse Reporting Facility, and (3) providing Internet Access to Provider Inspection Reports. Turnkey Inspection System: Inspection Reports are completed for each facility and home and stored on each of the Inspection staff?s laptop computers. Reports are then transferred via an automated process to the Internet Server in real time to be viewed by the general public. Statewide Data Warehouse Reporting Facility: A centralized data repository containing statewide information for provider and inspection information is updated via the Turnkey Inspection System. This information is used for state and federal reporting requirements. Internet Access to Provider Inspection Reports: Inspection reports that are stored on each of the Inspection staff?s laptop computers are transferred via an automated process to the Internet Server in real time. The public views the information via a browser connected to the World Wide Web to gain information regarding a child care facility or home in the state.
