Wind Developers Snap Up 70 Percent of Wyoming-Colorado Intertie Capacity

Two wind developers have secured 70 percent of the capacity on a planned 850-megawatt transmission line that would connect Wyoming's wind resources in its remote eastern plains to population centers in Colorado. When completed, the line will provide much needed transmission that will just begin to tap Wyoming's huge potential for generating wind power. More
