Alaska Incentives and Laws

The Alaska legislature meets annually from mid-January to mid-April. During the session, the governor must sign or veto legislation within six days of transmittal (except Sundays) or it becomes law without signature. Legislation transmitted to the governor after session adjournment must be acted upon within 20 days after transmittal (except Sundays) or the legislation becomes law without signature.
