RE: Expanded Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS) and Security Training Courses

Dear Colleague:

The Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) has developed two new courses designed for child support workers. The first course includes the following topics:

The second course "Securing the Future" provides an in-depth look at security and how it relates to child support data, child support workers, and child support offices in the information age.

These two courses are being offered regionally during the next three months. The duration of the expanded FPLS course will be one-and-a-half days. The day-long security training will begin after the FPLS course is concluded. These two courses will be offered back-to-back and if both courses are taken, will require a two-and-a-half day commitment.

The target audience for the courses is front-line staff, first-line supervisors, and trainers. Participants may register for either one or both courses. Class size is limited to 25 people and will be filled on a first-come first-registered basis.

The training dates and locations are as follows:

Sincerely,

David Gray Ross
