FTOOLS
A General Package of Software to Manipulate FITS Files
NEWS:
- Tried Hera
yet?
You may now run the FTOOLS tasks on the Hera severs at the HEASARC
instead of installing the software locally.
- You run the software tasks from the command line in exactly the same way, except the programs actually execute on the Hera servers, not your local machine.
- The input data files are transparently uploaded to the Hera servers where the program is executed, and any output FITS files and text output are copied back to your machine after the program finishes.
- A parameter editor GUI is available to make it easier to enter the value of all the input task parameters
- Hera can be used from most computer platforms, including Windows PCs.
- Hera also provides local disk space for intermedate-term store of user's data files to eliminate the need to constantly upload and download files.
- Start using Hera now...
