| Several organizations train individuals to prepare applications for AQMD permits.
AQMD certifies those who successfully pass a written exam as Certified Permitting Professionals (CPP).
As part of the services provided to CPPs, the AQMD has set up a Data Access System to enable CPPs to connect to
AQMD's computer system and directly obtain data and information about the facilities for which they are preparing applications.
To use this system, you must have a valid password and be a current Certified Permitting Professional.
A password and instructions on gaining access to this system will be provided at
the successful completion of the CPP certification course. A Certified
Permitting Professional will be allowed access to the data for a company ONLY if
that company has provided written authorization for that CPP to gain access.
