Applications must be submitted via the USAJobs web site. To apply for a job posted on USAJobs you must register through the web site. When you apply for a position at USAJobs you will be asked to submit an online resume and answer several application questions. In addition, this system allows you to:

If you will be requesting special selection priority consideration under the DOE Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP) or the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP) you are responsible for applying for specific vacancies by the filing deadline; ensuring that you meet the qualification requirements and any selective factor; and answering all the questions in the vacancy announcement.
