Resource counselors provide families with free child care counseling and up to 10 referrals to child care centers, family child care homes, nursery schools, Head Start programs, before and after school and summer programs near home, work, or school. Counselors will provide tips on how to identify quality programs and easy steps to follow to help you choose the right program for your child.
Information packets about Nanny and in-home services are available for a small fee.
The LOCATE line (240-777-3130) is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or you can conduct your own search online at www.mdchildcare.org.
