Washington, DC -- Congressman Steve Scalise today announced that he will be hosting an Academy Day for high school students, their parents, and high school faculty to learn more about the five U.S. service academies.

The Academy Day allows high school students to learn about each of the five academies; the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, NY, the U.S Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. They will also learn about the Congressional nomination process.  Representatives from each of the academies will be present at the event to answer any questions.
