WHAT: Congressman José E. Serrano (D-N.Y.) will join religious, community, and political leaders as well as immigrants’ rights activists at a community meeting to hear from New Yorkers who fear a family member, friend or loved one may be at risk of deportation. Congressman Serrano recently reintroduced legislation that would allow immigration judges to consider the impact of splitting up a family with U.S. citizen children. (Child Citizen Protection Act, H.
