One of the privileges I have as a Member of Congress is the
ability to provide my constituents with reservations for V.I.P. Congressional
Tours for visitors to Washington,
D.C. Please be advised,
Spring Break season (March-early April) and the summer months are extremely
busy times for tourists in Washington,
D.C. Consider planning
your visit outside of these peak seasons, such as during Mardi Gras.
Tours that I can provide to my constituents are:
These tours are an excellent way to see all that the
nation's capital has to offer. All requests are submitted on a first-come,
first-served basis to the tour venues. Due to the large number of visitors from
the Third District of Louisiana and other congressional districts, many of the
tours available to me are reserved as far as six months in advance. Therefore,
if you wish for me to arrange tours, please request them as early as possible
in order to maximize your chances.
While you are in Washington,
I encourage you and your family to stop by my office which is located in
Room 404 of the Cannon
House Office
Building. If you cannot
make it to Washington,
I encourage you to take a virtual tour of the Capitol.
